When you obtain money for doing some jobs on the mafia wars game, you should begin acquiring and purchasing property immediately. This is made even easier by the fact that Mafia Wars makes acquiring properties faster and easier to do at earlier levels. The price of property goes up as you collect them. Properties are a big way to earn easy money. You can get by with fewer properties if you can earn a lot of energy to do jobs and attack or rob other mafia families, but you should really get some sort of steady income that pays you without the need for energy. Owning multiple properties is the answer.

For your basic buying strategies, here are a few tried and tested tips:

1. Stay fully invested. The bank in Mafia Wars pays no interest. The only way to earn money – aside from pulling jobs, robbing and fighting – is to buy property. Buy at every opportunity.
2. Purchase a sacrificial five-star hotel and a mega casino. Why? They’re high profile properties that everyone likes to rob. These properties can actually help protect your other holdings by drawing fire from big shooters who want to get filthy rich on one heist. When they’ve been robbed, consider leaving them unrepaired and unprotected. There’s no more effective repellent for a larcenous mobster than a property that’s wrapped in police tape.
3. Keep an eye on low-cost low-profile properties like rental houses, Italian restaurants and apartment complexes. They’re unattractive to potential thieves and, in high enough volumes, generate considerable revenues. They’re as low-risk as it gets, outside of the Mafia Wars Mafia Mike’s franchise.
4. Load up on undeveloped space. These basic lots do throw off income. It’s a low rate of return, but because there’s nothing there that can be robbed it’s low risk, too.

So, now you know the basics, it’s up to you to how efficiently acquire properties as you earn more working and doing jobs in the mafia wars game. Be a ‘Don’ now mafioso!

When I begun this mafia wars game, I had no idea what I was getting into. Or what an addiction Mafia Wars would become (caveat: it can get really infectious and you can’t stop!).

Initially, you were given the choice of a name and character type. Don’t bother too much about your name. You could choose one to intimidate, or pick “Don something” like I did. If you do happen to choose wrong, you have the opportunity to change it later using reward points.

For mafia character type, the right one to set yourself up to level quickly is “Maniac.” Maniacs have energy that regenerates quicker, vs. Mogul which regenerates money quicker, and Fearless which regenerates health quicker. With the key to leveling quickly (and with less time/effort expense) being energy to do jobs, Maniac becomes the clear winner. You are given some reward (Godfather) points starting out. Don’t spend these right away. As tempting as it is to spend them, get a good nest egg and reward yourself later. To level the quickest, only spend Godfather points each time you reach 10, and use them on an energy refill (after you are at zero energy and won’t waste the refill points, of course).

Don’t ever let energy and/or stamina max out (ideally). If you do this you are never letting a point go to waste. But realistically you won’t be able to do this perfectly. So, each time you check into Mafia Wars, make sure you spend every energy and stamina point you have. The only exception is for energy. If you know that you’ll be able to check in again before your energy maxes out, and that if by saving points you’ll be able to do a better job (more experience for the energy point) or a job you still need to master, then by all means save some energy points. (My energy is now above 800, and never maxes out overnight, so I can usually even save a few at the end of the night to do better jobs in the morning.)

From what I’ve seen, you’re doing well if you can level up twice in one day . I typically need to check into the game just once a day and receive 1 energy pack/day to make this happen.

There you go mafiosos, you can start your own mafia and be the most powerful mobster in just no time at all!

2. If you have won a huge amount of cash, say around $70,000 or up by attacking someone, make sure to bookmark them and attack as often as possible.

3. Always keep your attack and defense on an equal pace if you use stats besides energy.

As most mafia members do, they wander around the city to collect valuable loots for the godfather.Mafia wars game players have unraveled a massive loot of collectibles. A mafia member can now have and own a vast collection of valuables for themselves.

These collections are not without purpose, they are not rendered futile as each type of valuable loot adds to the vault of the mafia and the player’s attributes. Once completed, valuable collections will definitely add to the mafia’s energy, defense, and tools.

There are currently five (5) collections of valuable loot items to own and collect. These collections appear at the various level or stages of the play, these are:

• Poker Chips 9-12 (Soldier)
• Sculptures: Levels 9-12 (Soldier)
• Cigars: Levels 13-17 (Enforcer)
• Rings: Levels 18-24 (Hitman)
• Paintings: Levels 25-34 (Capo)

Remember that these valuables are a must-have and remember to collect these loots along the various stages of the play.

There are four (4) factors in determining your mafia skill. If you want to level up, this is the right time to be working on these skills, here they are:

Energy

You will obtain this at around level 200. Even if you are the fearless type, the energy reduction benefit that Fearless gives is basically gauged on their level and early on energy is everything for all character types. If you want to build a stronger character you can point puts in attack and defense early on but it’ll be a lot slower to level.

Attack and Defense

For your attack and defense, do not squander them unless you reach level 200. After that, you can start utilizing these points for attack and defense.  At this juncture, you should have a full 501 members in your mafia and be very well equipped.

Health

They render this as useless since you have all time access to recuperation when you want it. So, be slow and cautious in using points here.

Stamina

You should start looking at this particular stat when you have finally decided to start your offensive tactics and get started with the fight.

These are the basics you should know, and all through out the game, be sure to use your points wisely.
