Mafia Wars Bookmarklets
I came across a review site that features an array of very useful tool called ‘bookmarklets’ that you can use for your Mafia Wars’ strategic gaming pleasure. Here are the the basics you should have:
| Use this to add a friend who also plays Mafia Wars. Visit their Facebook profile page and then click “Add to Mafia”. The page should now say “Adding user with id nnn…” and then go right into Mafia Wars. Then the person should be added to your mafia, and Mafia Wars will say that the person has been added. Your mafia count, however, is not immediately updated.Note: You have to be Facebook friends with the person you’re adding for this to work. After adding the person to your mafia, you can safely remove the person as your Facebook friend, if you want. | |
| Add to Mafia in a new window – like the above, but opens up your link in a new window. | |
| Add to Mafia in a new window, then open up the “Remove Friend” dialog. For the serious fast-adder. | |
| Use this to switch between a person’s Facebook profile and their Mafia Wars profile. It also works from an “add friend”-page, such as this. However, it does not work from your own Mafia Wars profile. | |
| Toolbar full? Here’s the one bookmarklet to cover them all. Use it on a person’s profile page, then select action! | |
| Use this to add someone to your Top Mafia. | |
| Use this to attack someone. | |
| Use this to punch someone in the face. | |
| Use this to hitlist someone. It’s also useful to see if the person has already been killed, without spending a stamina point. | |
| Use this to open up the page where you can rob this person’s properties. | |
| Use this to give this person help on a job. Don’t be late! | |
| Use this to send energy to this person. If the person already got energy within 24 hours, you will just get a Mafia Wars screen. | |
| Use this to give a collection item or loot item to someone. This takes you to a page on heartrate.se where you can choose a gift to give to that person. If you’d rather type in the ID yourself than use the bookmarklet, just go here. |
Install the bookmarklets you want by dragging them to your bookmarks toolbar. (If you’re using Internet Explorer, dragging doesn’t seem to work. Instead, right-click on the link and then choose “Add to favorites”.
